| Educational Communication Support Worker Qualification NATED are currently working with Signature and ACSW to develop a new, accredited qualification for ECSWs to help them develop these skills and enable them to support deaf learners' access to education. The new qualification will include 4 main parts: 1. knowledge and understanding of signed and written forms of communication 2. understanding of deaf students' learning styles 3. professional issues surrounding supporting learners in the classroom 4. and the practical skills needed to support young deaf people with their education.
